Ris December 2009 - A touch of Genius
A company that never ends surprising with new and original ideas: Galizia, the Italian brand specialized in pick and carry cranes, presented at the last SAIE in Bologna another innovative crane, born from the success of the small compact electric G20, the GK 20.
This 2 tonne track mounted electric crane has a very original compact design, and its components are totally protected by a metal reinforcement on the central part, above the undercarriage
As usual in Galizia’s cranes the GK20, fully radio commanded, is equipped with total steering and reduced steering radius, a new 48V AC drive electrical system and bimotor traction system.
Meanwhile continues the success of G20, (the same model on wheels) particularly on the markets of maintenance sector and in the setting of glass, marble and work of art in special places such as skyscrapers, public buildings, churches and museums.
Ing. Fabio Vercelli Galizia, Managing Director of his family’s company considers F200 as the new benchmark in the planning of pick and carry cranes, and the best ambassador of the Galizia style for moving large and heavy loads in confined working areas, without using counterweight slabs,.
Its strongest characteristic lies in the innovative traction system, totally planned by Galizia, which has front wheel drive with a separate electric motor for each of the 2 pairs of front wheels.
